Building A Healthy Foundation
A smile that looks good overtime must be surrounded by a healthy environment. Before we can begin making aesthetic improvements to your smile, we need to make sure that your teeth and gums are healthy. Your treatment plan will include the necessary procedures to repair any tooth damage, decay, and gum disease.
We coordinate cosmetic and restorative procedures to minimize your time in the dental chair. The good news is that most restorative procedures already give cosmetic results. Thanks to advanced dental innovations, we use strong, tooth colored materials to keep your smile seamless. We explore your options with you so that you can make an informed decision about your oral health improvements.
Comfortable Care that You Can Trust
If you are nervous about your upcoming treatment or require more complex treatment, we offer sedation dentistry to help you achieve optimal oral health comfortably. During your consultation, we will discuss what you can expect during treatment. This consultation is the best time to mention any dental anxieties, so we can help you achieve peace of mind for your future appointments.
Will Braces Help My Smile?
Wearing braces will correct many different problems with your smile. Depending on how severe the problem is, we can create a multi-faceted treatment plan to uniform your smile. We suggest braces to correct problems with:
- Misalignment issues such as overbite or underbite
- Unwanted gaps between teeth
- Problems from TMJ disorder
- Crooked teeth
- Overcrowding
The length of treatment will depend on the severity of your bite issues and if other treatment procedures are required such as extraction, spacers, expanders, or retainers to solve the problem comprehensively. We want to make sure that the root of the problem is fixed to keep your straight smile for years to come.
5 Top Benefits of a Straighter Smile
- Restores function
- Preserves oral health
- Facilitates speech
- Protects teeth from trauma
- Improve smile aesthetics
When your braces come off, you will have more confidence in your smile. Schedule a consultation with All NeedZ Dental to determine if braces will achieve your aesthetic goals.
Are Dental Implants Right for Me?
If you are missing teeth or need an extraction, we will examine your oral health to determine if you qualify for dental implants. With a 95-98% success rate, implant placement and restoration is truly the best solution for patients who need tooth replacements.
How Do I Qualify for Dental Implants?
During your examination, we explore the health of any remaining teeth, your gums, and the integrity of your jaw bone. Before implant placement can begin, we may need to perform, gum disease treatment, tooth extraction, or perform bone grafts to rebuild a healthy environment for successful implant treatment.
Some patients who have excessive damage from advanced gum disease or have lived without teeth for some time, may not qualify for dental implants.
What Types of Restorations are Used with Dental Implants?
We examine the health of remaining teeth to determine what type of restoration is needed to complete your smile.
If you are missing a single tooth and neighboring teeth are healthy, we will use an implant-supported crown to fill in the gap. This option works great, especially for replacing a front tooth since it creates a uniform, natural line between tooth and gum.
If you are missing several teeth, we would need to use an implant-supported bridge or partial denture to complete your bite. This stand-alone restoration stays in place using two dental implants as anchors rather than crowning neighboring teeth with a fixed bridge or using clip-on partial dentures. The implants permanently stabilize the artificial teeth for a durable yet cosmetic solution.
For patients who are currently wearing dentures or are researching tooth replacement options, we explore qualifying you for implant-supported dentures. Depending on your gum and bone health, you may be eligible for an implant-supported denture using only four to six implants.
Combining dentures with implants give patients a strong, confident smile. With implants as supports, your denture plate will not move while eating or speaking and will not limit your diet in any way. This advantage is especially true for lower dentures, that are more difficult to keep in place throughout the day.
How Long Does It Take to Get Dental Implants?
Treatment time will vary depending on how many procedures are necessary to create a healthy foundation before we place implants. If you require extraction, gum disease treatment, or bone grafts, it may take up to a year before we can place your final restoration. We need to give your mouth time to heal in between certain procedures.
Once the implants have been surgically placed into your jaw bone, we give the area two to three months to heal. During this time, the implant post will integrate with the bone, through a process called osseointegration. Because the implant is made up of biocompatible materials, your body will accept the post as part of the bone.
Once the surgical area has healed, we use an abutment to secure your restoration to the implant, creating a seamless, permanent replacement.
Are Dental Implants Affordable?
Implants are an investment in your long-term oral health. If your dental insurance does include implant placement and restorations, we will help you achieve the most benefit possible. For those without implant benefits, we help you explore funding options for out-of-pocket costs.
What Are the Benefits of Implant-Supported Restorations?
With a high success rate and durable materials, the dental implant will help protect your mouth from additional future costs associated with more traditional methods.
9 Benefits of Dental Implants

- Comfortable
- No diet limitations
- Easier to eat and speak
- Boost of confidence

Will Dentures Work Best for Me?
Dentures are a tried-and-true restoration for missing teeth. Many insurance benefits will partially cover this solution. We will help you process your insurance paperwork, so you obtain the most benefit from your plan.
During your exam, we will explore the need for extraction, gum disease treatment and determine if you qualify for implant-supported dentures. We will explain if additional treatment is necessary to ensure you can wear dentures without further compromising your oral health.
Gum Disease Treatment - Because a full denture plate will rest on your gums, we will resolve gum disease and infection first.
Extraction - It is important for healthy teeth and gums to surround your partial denture. If you have neighboring teeth that might compromise the long-term benefit of your artificial replacement, we will suggest having the teeth removed. Also, if most of your teeth are unhealthy or missing, we will suggest extraction for a full denture replacement on the upper, lower, or both arches.
How Do I Care for My Dentures?
We will provide instruction on how to care for your dentures at home as well as tips on how to wear them comfortably.
Remove your dentures every night - Let your dentures rest in a gentle cleaning solution every night to help keep your dentures looking natural. It will also give your gums time to rest from all day wear. Your saliva has beneficial cleansing agents to keep your mouth healthy.
Give yourself time to adjust - It usually takes about a month for patients to adapt to wearing dentures. You will need to practice eating and speaking while keeping your denture in place. You should expect some discomfort as you get used to wearing them. We suggest that you eat soft foods for the first few days, especially after extraction.
Brush and floss your dentures after eating – Food debris can get stuck in between and around your new teeth as with any remaining teeth you may have. Choose gentle (non-abrasive) cleaning solutions without bleach and floss after every meal to help prevent staining and a potentially embarrassing smile. Bleaching agents can ruin the cosmetic appeal of your denture.
Be gentle with your dentures- Don’t use hot or boiling water to clean them. This could ruin the structure of the denture. You will also need to be careful not to drop them when they are removed. Don’t puncture dentures with toothpicks and use a soft-bristled toothbrush for cleaning.
Follow a limited diet - The last thing you want is for your denture to fall out while you eat, especially in public. Avoid sticky or hard objects like candy and ice cubes. You may also want to avoid corn on the cob or tough cuts of meats. Foods with small hard-to-eat particles like popcorn kernels or certain seeds may cause discomfort if they get lodged between your denture plate and gums.
Will Veneers Improve My Smile?
If you have cosmetic concerns about your top front teeth, veneers can help you achieve your best smile. Empress® Veneers are used to cover up unwanted gaps, stubborn stains, slightly crooked, or chipped teeth in your smile zone.
What Can I Expect when Getting Veneers?
The procedure typically takes two dental appointments to give the lab time to create your veneer. We will gently prep targeted teeth to create space for the veneer to fit seamlessly with neighboring teeth. A temporary veneer is placed until your next appointment.
Your second appointment is used to permanently place your final veneer and make any necessary fit adjustments. We help you understand how to care for your veneer and send you home with easy to follow instructions.
How Can I Keep My Veneers Looking Great?
Veneers are strong and beautiful, but like your natural teeth, they are susceptible to damage and stains.
To help you keep your new smile looking great, we suggest that you avoid using your front teeth when:
- Biting on hard foods such as ice, candy, or raw vegetables
- Tearing tough meet
- Sticky food such as taffy or caramel
- Staining food and drink such as berries, wine, dark soda, and coffee
- Avoid using tobacco products
Why Use Professional Teeth Whitening?
If you are tired of a dull or stained smile, teeth whitening can help improve the color of your enamel up to seven shades. Results will vary from patient to patient.
Professional teeth bleaching will safeguard your enamel and gums with custom trays that fit your smile. This helps to keep the whitening solution from your gums during treatment and also spreads the solution evenly across your teeth.
We use more powerful bleaching agents than over the counter options that are safe and effective, and our professional services will help you avoid tooth sensitivity during treatment.
